Comme des Garcons

Comme des Garçons, written in Japanese as コム・デ・ギャルソン (Komu de Gyaruson), is French for "as boys".Comme des Garçons is based in Tokyo and headed by  Rei Kawakubo .

Rei Kawakubo worked in a textile company and began working as a freelance stylist in 1967.In 1973, she established her own company, Comme des Garçons Co. Ltd in Tokyo and opened up her first boutique in Tokyo in 1975. Starting out with women's clothes, Kawakubo added a men's line in 1978. Three years later, she started presenting her fashion lines in Paris each season, opening up a boutique in Paris in 1982. And until now the brand is popular and still having a big blast in the fashion industry!

In their Paris S//S RTW 2013 collection it was plain colors, elegance, folded, padded, crumpled, layered, and draped. The only thing I dont understand here is the head gears which is according to Vogue, made of paint cans, wing mirrors, aluminium food packaging, brass brackets, and broken toy cars. It reminded me so much of Alexander McQueen's Autumn Winter collection way back in 2009 where in the set features a pile of debris - everything from rubbish bags and crushed car parts to broken fairground horses and castaway chairs - much of it recycled props from past McQueen shows .

Very Avant Garde! From the head gear to the clothes its self very haute couture!

It was very obvious it was HAUTE COUTURE!
