Comme des Garcons

Comme des Garçons, written in Japanese as コム・デ・ギャルソン (Komu de Gyaruson), is French for "as boys".Comme des Garçons is based in Tokyo and headed by  Rei Kawakubo .

Rei Kawakubo worked in a textile company and began working as a freelance stylist in 1967.In 1973, she established her own company, Comme des Garçons Co. Ltd in Tokyo and opened up her first boutique in Tokyo in 1975. Starting out with women's clothes, Kawakubo added a men's line in 1978. Three years later, she started presenting her fashion lines in Paris each season, opening up a boutique in Paris in 1982. And until now the brand is popular and still having a big blast in the fashion industry!

In their Paris S//S RTW 2013 collection it was plain colors, elegance, folded, padded, crumpled, layered, and draped. The only thing I dont understand here is the head gears which is according to Vogue, made of paint cans, wing mirrors, aluminium food packaging, brass brackets, and broken toy cars. It reminded me so much of Alexander McQueen's Autumn Winter collection way back in 2009 where in the set features a pile of debris - everything from rubbish bags and crushed car parts to broken fairground horses and castaway chairs - much of it recycled props from past McQueen shows .

Very Avant Garde! From the head gear to the clothes its self very haute couture!

It was very obvious it was HAUTE COUTURE!

d e n i m

So here I am wearing again my favorite denim polo (armani from an ukay ukay again :) ). I just love layering clothes. Wearing a long or oversized top and finishing it with a cover up its either a polo, jacket, cardigan or a denim vest (so what ? hahaha)
I don't care what other people say if Im buying only in an ukay-ukay, as long as you use it well and as stylish as you can there's no wrong with that! Many of my fashion icons are buying from an ukay-ukay and they use it very well! I believe its not on the brand or how much the price is, what you get from buying in an expensive store you can also get in ukay-ukay. Its only the name that your paying! But I also love branded things sadly I dont have a lot of that :) hahaha

Enough of the ukay ukay thing! Anyway I love bringing bags especially big bags where I can put a lot of things! But whats only inside my bag is only a sketch pad and a pencil case for sketching! nothing too important! hahaha I love bringing bags wherever I go even though it has no things inside. Maybe because I get my confidence from my bag I guess?? hahaha

I actually made the canvas bag (DIY ) its so easy to make lucky for me I have a sewing machine! I have # canvas bag that i made Im planning to sell it soon hahaha :)

Just Plain and Simple

I love wear polo's I don't know why ?? hahaha I bought that polo from an ukay-ukay arround guadalupe (theres a lot of ukay-ukay there). Anyway Im oof to a party I just wanted to be plain and casual I don't wanna outshine the celebrant! haha :D

For my hairstyle, I want to be manly so I decided my hair style to be brushed up it took me one hour before I finished that fuckin hair!! hahaha! hahaha The neckalce that I'm wearing is metal chains that I made! That hand bag that I'm holding is actually from my sister! Its ablack a simple envelope hand bag perfect for my plain outfit! And the shoes is actually from my dad! ITS VINTAGE!

Costume National Spring // Summer 2013

Costume National is an Italian brand found in 1986 by Ennio Capasa (he's aalso the creative director of the brand ).
Ennio Capasa worked for designer Yohji Yamamoto in Japan before he retutrned in Milan and established his own brand namely the Costume National. Known for their brands such as :
Costume National,Costume National Homme (for men) and C’N’C (an ‘avant garde “street-couture”  line.

For their Spring Summer 2013 collection Capasa played with rock and roll themed, black and white were also seen. Capasa gave variations of  asymmetry, where lengths were mixed, straps highlighted the waist. The Costume National woman means business and her outfit shows it.

The simplicity of the garments are perfect for the woman who are busy in the business but still fashionable and stylish! Many woman will love this collection for its class, elegance and sophistication.

I've noticed that Black and white are mostly seen on the runways of  Milan,Paris,London and New York Fashion Week! Also plain colors and simplicity are the main elements of the garments!

Yohji Yamamoto spring // summer 2013

Long , dark and powerful colors were seen on the runway of Yohji Yamamoto's S//S 2013 collection. Personally, I super love all the clothes coz I love to wear long and big outfits! Yamamoto is such a brilliant guy! Simplicity I guess is the trend now, coz I see a lot of collections from Paris, New York and London fashion week most of all the collections are plain and simple! Lets wait for Philippine Fashion Week.

In an interview of Lily Templeton toYamamoto he said that  "he was unwilling to expand on his inspirations, explaining backstage that he didn’t have a specific theme, but wanted to recapture the essence of summer, a joyful period that lingers in the mind even decades later.  As a result, his spring/summer 2013 collection seemed shrouded in gauzy, trailing swatches of fabrics, like a bleeding Polaroid.
