Corsets and peplums are seen in the recent colection of my favorite brand Alexander McQueen RTW Spring 2013 collection. Sarah Burton did another fantastic job!(congrats to her)
According to www.wwd.com in an interview to Burton before the show she said was drawn to bees, she said before her show, because theirs is “a matriarchal society where the females rule.”
The use of nets and laces gives the collection more theatrical and glamorous effect! You can really see the inspiration (which is I guess the bees) in the collection! Perfect inspirations comes out perfectly once you get inspired and do all the hard works!
I super love the gold peplums (Corpinyo is the real name of peplum before) and the gold blazzers I want to have one of those one day :)
